De wedstrijd werd gepresenteerd door schrijfster Margje Woodrow. Er waren in totaal 10 deelnemers waarvan 5 leerlingen van het Blariacum college. Ze lazen allemaal een fragment voor uit hun favoriete boek en werden beoordeeld door een jury. Vw1y was aanwezig om de deelnemers aan te moedigen. Na een spannende wedstrijd en een lang juryberaad werden er 2 winnaars gekozen. Een van de winnaars is Lissa Neutelings van vw1y. Zij mag nu op woensdag 8 april meedoen met de Limburgse finale in de Oranjerie in Roermond.
